BACK TO HISTORY

1926 American LaFrance Pumper. This was the first new engine the town ever bought. It cost $12,500 in 1926 and has a hand built 856 cubic inch six cylinder for power. The truck is operational and is used for parades and events throughout the year. It has won several first place trophies over the years and was once featured in a Mountain Dew commercial. The truck was in service as a back up pumper until the mid 60's and was restored "in house" by the firefighters. It truly is our pride and joy, and lives in a bay built specifically as a display area and museum.
