Engine 43 is a former first out pumper that now serves as a pumper and a water supply truck for the new Laurel Ridge district. It is a 1984 E-1 GMC Diesel 1250 GPM pump and a 750 gallon tank. It carries 1000 feet of large diameter rubber hose that can act as an above ground water main for large fires.
