Rescue 4 is a KME custom rescue on an International 4800 chassis. This
vehicle has a multi-purpose response for the department including motor
vehicle accidents, hazardous materials, rope rescue, air (SCBA) support,
and second out medical first response. The truck features a self contained
"jaws of life" system that includes cutters, spreader and ram components.
This apparatus also has a 16 foot 9000 watt remote controlled light tower.
Rescue 4 is well suited for our response area, being large enough to carry
a multitude of equipment, but being maneuverable enough to negotiate
mountain roads when needed. Oh, yes, it also has a coffee maker on board.
